Board of Trustees
Anaheim Union High School District
In 2008, you elected me to our board because you wanted new leadership to restore the community’s trust and get our schools moving in the right direction. With your support, our district is back on track. We’re teaching students and preparing them for the future. I have provided fiscally conservative leadership and clear priorities. Even in these challenging economic times, we’ve maintained high standards in our classrooms and didn’t cut basic instruction.
We’ve improved English, mathematics, and science classes. Our computer literacy and job skills training programs are preparing students for life after graduation. We’ve enhanced afterschool and extracurricular initiatives, including sports and music. Our campuses are cleaner, safer, and more energy efficient. Moving forward, it’s essential that we continue to improve core academic instruction, ensure we be good stewards of taxpayer dollars, and provide quality education for all students that’s second to none.
I am proud to be endorsed by Mayor Curt Pringle, Orange County
Clerk-Recorder Tom Daly, former California Secretary of Education Marian Bergeson, our local teachers, school employees, police officers, and firefighters. I humbly ask for your vote to continue working on behalf of the students, parents, and taxpayers.

A graduate of public schools and the University of California at Irvine, Jordan is passionate about ensuring that our schools provide the highest-quality education to all our students. While in college, Jordan was a classroom instructor for the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Program at a local high school.
Jordan is currently a Director for his family's Environmental Planning and Consulting Firm, Michael Brandman Associates (MBA). In this position, Jordan is involved in the development of both private and public projects around the county and state.
Before rejoining MBA, Jordan was the Director of Workforce Development for the Orange County Business Council (OCBC). In this position, Jordan is responsible for designing and implementing strategies and programs that help to develop a 21st century workforce that meets Orange County's long-term employment needs.
Before joining OCBC, Jordan served in Sacramento for over three years and was highly involved in the development of significant, long-term policy issues that benefited all of Californias people and families.
From 2002-2004, he served as a policy advisor in the Governor's Office of the Secretary for Education. In this position, Jordan advised the Governor and Secretary on various education policy issues including high school reform, education technology, career technical education and workforce development, school facilities, after-school programs, accountability
and assessment, and child care/school readiness.
From 2004-2006, Jordan served as Legislative Aide to Assemblymember Tom Umberg. In this position, he advised and staffed Mr. Umberg on various policy issues including education, local government, and
transportation.
Jordan is the proud son of Michael and Mara Brandman and brother of Jason, Joshua, Jacob, and Jedidiah. Jordan looks forward to starting a family in Anaheim and having his children attend Anaheim
